What makes Frankenmuth wool different from synthetic materials?
Our wool is a natural, breathable fiber that regulates body temperature far better than synthetics. It wicks away moisture and is naturally hypoallergenic and resistant to dust mites, providing a healthier sleep environment.
How do I clean and care for my wool comforter?
We recommend sunning and airing out your wool bedding to keep it fresh. For spills, spot clean with a mild detergent. Do not machine wash or dry our traditional wool comforters, as this can cause felting; professional dry cleaning is recommended if a deep clean is necessary.
Do your wool products have a strong sheep scent?
We use a unique, chemical-free scouring process that thoroughly cleans the wool while retaining a small amount of natural lanolin. There may be a very faint, natural scent initially, but it typically dissipates within a few days of opening the package.
How long will it take for my order to ship?
Most of our items are handcrafted to order in our historic mill. Orders typically ship within 3-5 business days. You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your package leaves our facility in Frankenmuth, Michigan.
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your sleep experience. We accept returns on unused bedding in its original packaging within 30 days of purchase. Due to the personal nature of bedding, products that have been used or laundered cannot be returned.
